In the morning, our American teacher told us that we were going to visit the art gallery  and she led us to look up the definition of the words about painting in the dictionary. We listened  to the teacher attentively and did very well.On the way to the gallery ,we were talking about  painting styles.The weather was very hot, but no one complained because it was colder and more comfortable than Xi'an(from pictures, you could see some of us were wearing coats). 15 minutes passed before we got to the art gallery. When we stepped in, a lot of beautiful paintings attracted us. Some are oil paintings, which are hard to understand because they are just different bright colors put together. The teacher told us that they were abstract paintings, only expressing the painters' ideas. When people saw this kind of paintings, they would imagine what they were. Perhaps, that would just be their advantages.  Looking at the works of art, painted in different techniques, I think that the artists are talented persons who can create so many beautiful things that bring people so much pleasure that excite me to improve my imagination and power of learning in future studies.
