　　This is the first time that I have come to America. This journey is more wonderful and plentiful than I expected.
　　There are so many differences in culture, history and custom between America and my country. Los Angles is a new world to me. Too many things need to be learned. When we are studying in Palos Verdes Peninsula summer school. I know we can learn a lot of knowledge from places other than classroom. We went to Peninsula Center Library to learn how to do research. We went to the fire station to learn about the fire men' s life and the knowledge about emergency evacuation plan. We went to the art gallery to see photography works and paintings. We also went to Disneyland to learn the structure of the Roller Coaster and the principle of gravity and magnetic force. Maybe when I go back to China. I can't change the classroom. But I know my learning ability and the power of thinking are improved. I believe I will study harder for my goal.
　　Besides academic works, the past time activities are also very interesting and fantastic. The journey to San Francisco, all theme parks and visiting four universities all give me so special and happy memories.
　　I think life is a journey. It may not be all smooth. But all things I learned from this trip give me more confidence, and teach me to be more independent. Our study in Palos Verdes Summer School towards the end. But what I have learned will stay in my memory forever.
　　I will come back to America again. Next time you will see a better me.

　　这是我第一次来到美国，这次旅程比我所预期的要充实精彩得多。
　　美国和我的国家有太多的不同。文化，历史和习惯都大不相同。来这里像来到了新世界，有太多可以学习汲取的地方。在去Palos Verdes半岛地区暑期学校学习的时候，我第一次知道我们学习的地方不仅只可以在课堂。我们去半岛地区中心图书馆；去消防站亲身了解消防员的生活以及学习消防知识；去画廊参观各式摄影作品和画作；就连去迪斯尼乐园我们也了解了过山车的构造以及重力和磁力的物理原理。或许在以后的学习中，有太多的客观因素依旧不能改变，但我却感觉到我学习自主性以及思考能力的提升，我相信我会为目标而更加努力的。
　　除了学习生活以外，我们的业余生活也非常丰富。旧金山，游乐园以及四所大学的参观，给了我非常独特的体验。
　　我觉得人生就像一次旅程，在这期间可能不会事事顺心，但其中的一切收获都会使我成为一个更加自信坚强和善良的人。这个阶段的旅程快要结束了，但它给我的种种收获，我知道它们会一直陪着我。
　　美国，我会再来的，下次会让你看到更好的我。

Good evening, everybody.

The summer course in Palos Verdes will be finished. During this program, we realized the cultures of America are many differences between United State and China. In the past mouth, we studied a lot of knowledge of American advanced ourselves value. It can make us more amiable to hug this beautiful country.

This is the first time that I’ve been here. When I studied my summer courses. I found there are lots of things that I can learned and be worth deeply thinking. During the study time in Palos Verdes we experienced the American teachers how to take care of students. We have different culture; we try to practice different language and different way to communicate. At last, I found we have a same heart and same ideas. I have learned many know ledges and experiences from extra-curricular activities. For example, Mrs. V took us to the fire station and made us understand the know ledges of fire. We always went to the library and study how to refer the information. In our Pubic Speaking Class Mrs. V taught us how to made a speech and how to speech skills. In the Disneyland we enjoyed and learned scientists’ theories of those entertainment equipments. We understood, that is American way to study.

At here, we earned credits and knowledge, we learn about different culture. The summer course is interesting and exciting. At the same time, it is a good experience and a practice for us. Thanks Palos Verdes Peninsula Summer High School. Thanks the teachers and volunteers. Thank you everybody. Enjoy yourself!

亲爱的老师，同学们;
　　大家下午好。
　　期待已久的美国之旅即将结束了，在这个过程中，我们体会到了美国的文化，人文，还有很多和中国不同的地方。这一次的美国之旅，不仅提升了我们对美国的认识，更提升了我们自己的自我价值，让我们更能亲切的拥抱这个美利坚共和国，这个美丽的国家。
　　第一次来到这个大国，第一次面对面的和这个大国的文化、人文进行交流，这里有太多太多的东西这的我们学习，这里有太多的东西值得我们深思。在Palos Verdes学习的这一个月，让我们亲切地感受到老师对异国学生的关心，对我们的细心。不同的文化，不同的交流方式，不同的语言，相同的心，相同的意念，相同的感受。在这里学习的时候，让我了解到，我们不一定必须在课堂完成自己的作业，不一定在课堂完成自己的学习，学习是可以在任何地方，任何地点完成的。书本上的知识固然重要，但是社会实践，则是更加很总要的。去消防站了解消防知识，去图书馆学习怎样查询资料，在我们学习公共演讲这门课的时候，Mrs.V告诉我们怎样做，怎样演讲更加生动，更加吸引大家的注意力。在迪斯尼乐园游玩的过程中，我们不仅享受了游戏带给我们的乐趣，而且学习到了关于磁力的物理知识。在实践中学习，在实践中提升自己的知识，这就是美国的课堂，这就是美国的教学方式。
　　在这里，我们有了不同的经验，不同的文化方式，不同的交流方式，不同的生活方式。这一次的美国之旅，既陌生有新鲜，对于我们将来来这里学习的同学是一个很好的锻炼机会，感谢Palos Verdes，感谢各位尽心尽力的老师们！
