Xi’an Bodi School was established in 1993. It is composed of a primary school, a middle school and an overseas students section. Our primary school is one of the first-level primary schools of Xi’an, and our middle school is a key middle school of Shaanxi Province (2001). Simultaniously, Bodi is one of the “Primary & Seconday School Base for Chinese Language Promotion” of Hanban and a cornerstone of Chinese table tennis of National Sports Association Table Tennis and Badminton Center. Now, Bodi has 60 classes and 3000 teachers and students.

Our school is near the High-tech Development Zone of Xi’an and occupies an area of 225 Mu（about 15 hectares), the total building area is 100,000 square meters. 70% of the area is covered by lush green. Bodi had made furitful successes in the past 15 years. Once in a three-year succession, 100% of our senior students passed the College Entrance Examnations, and 80% of them were enrolled by universities and colleges of undergraduate course. I.International Class
Bodi International Class was established by Bodi School and Colombia International College in Canada - one of the best high schools in Canada. Its goal is to give students a high-quality, all-round education and an international perspective. Starting from the first academic year, the curriculums and teaching plans are in accordance with international standards. More importance will be attached to English language training and background knowledge about foreign countries, while courses related to the Gaokao (the Chinese National College & University Entrance Examination) will be reduced to the necessary minimum. Students will finish their language tests before going abroad and every student will receive his or her letter of admission before they graduate.
II.Internationalized Campus Life
Xi’an Bodi School has given international exchange a great importance in its history of development. In the past 15 years, nearly 10,000 oversea visitors came to Bodi ; only in the year of 2008, over 700 teachers, students or delegation members from U.S. , U.K., Japan and South Korea visited our school. Since 1995, Bodi has organized our teachers and students to visit U.S., U.K., Japan and South Korea for dozens of times. Simultaneously, over 10 universities from 7 countries have become Sister-schools and Scholar Exchange Partners of Bodi School, which provides convenient ways for our graduates oversea further education. Up to now, over 300 Bodi graduates have gone abroad for their further education, some of them entered University of California Berkley, Stanford University, University of California Los Angeles University of Southern California, etc. Internationalized education idea and learning atmosphere have attracted 500 students from South Korea, USA, Thailand, and Singapore to learn Chinese language in Bodi, of whom 70 Korean students learn Chinese language and attend lessons of all subjects with Chinese students for long periods and some have entered China’s Universities for their further education.

Exploring Students Potential and Cultivating Fine Arts Talents
I.Yun Enfeng Art Centre
In June of 2009, in order to push forward artistic education, explore Bodi students’ potential and promote our students’ all-round development, Xi’an Bodi School , together with our national famous artist and singer---Yun Enfeng, established “ Yun Enfeng Art Centre” to propagate Yun’s singing skills ，cultivate our students on vocality, instrumental music, dance and guoxue( which mainly means the study of ancient Chinese classics)，edify students’ artistic accomplishments and carry forward Chinese national culture. Other famous experts are also invited to be instructors in this art centre, they are Sun Shao, a national first-class composer; Jing Wen, an ancient Chinese poem incidental music composer; Fang Qiang, a music educator; etc.

II.Fine Arts Class
Xi’an Bodi School’s Studio was established in 1998. The studio has 11 full-time teachers and 9 part-time teachers; all of them graduated from universities of fine arts and 4 have Master’s degree. The studio is strictly managed and precise teaching plans are carried out. Various subjects on fine arts are offered to the students. In recent years, our fine arts students’ university enrollment rate is 100%. Bodi Studio has made some students pass the entrance examinations of Central University of Fine Arts, Xi’an University of Fine Arts and many other outstanding art academies of China.

Xi’an Bodi School’s indoor table tennis hall was built by Shaanxi Zhishan Dongliang Table Tennis Club in 2005. The hall covers an area of about 3,000 square meters, which provides enough space for 80 tables. It is the largest table tennis training center and the only stadium in Northwestern China that can hold National First Division table tennis matches. Various large-scale competitions are held in the stadium, and table tennis lessons and training of the table tennis class students are also carried out there. The everyday training in the stadium is undertaken by coaches of the Shaanxi Province Sports Team. From 2006 to 2008, our school was responsible for supplying the traning place for disabled players, who would attend the Paralympic Games for China; finally, those players got 5 gold medals, 4 silver medals and one bronze medal in the 2008 Paralympic Games,which showed that our training had reached the world level.

Strict, careful boarding management, without outside bad influences
Bodi’s domitories contain 4-bed rooms equipped with heating system, air conditioning and 2-bed rooms with heating system, air conditioning and 24 hour hot water supply to meet different demands. There is a dorm mother on each floor; they will take care of students’ life like their real mothers. Every night, after finishing the evening self-study, our students will return to their dorms in queues with their class directors and PE teachers. When the students reach the gates of their dorms, class directors will pass on the students to their dorm mothers. After counting students’ number, dorm mothers will lead the students into their rooms and ask them to sleep. Dorm life can help the students to cultivate their independent living, communicative and cooperative capabilities apart from learning knowledge; simultaneously, students’ growth will not be affected by the outside bad influences.
