On May,18th our school Vice principal Yang Xiaoxia warmly received Li hua Yu, the leader of international department from College of Lake Country(CLC) in USA and they had a nice talk.
Located in the far northeastern suburbs of Chicago,  CLC built in 1972 is a comprehensive community college offering a wide range of academic programs choices to meet students’ educational needs at different points in their lives. The supplied program areas include business, Communication, Engineering, Fine Art, IT, English, Architecture, Social science and so on.Each semester the College serves around 18000 students, including about 135 international students from 43 different countries throughout the world. At the meantime CLC utilize a well-equipped facilities and collect plenty of enthusiastic faculty who have advanced degrees and practical experience.
The College of Lake Country mainly offer 2+2 Transfer programs. It means that students interested in transferring to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor’s degree need to complete the first two years programs which lead to an Associate in Arts (A.A.), an Associate in Science (A.S.). After fulfilling the university requirements, upon individual students’ development needs the students can transfer into the equivalency universities to complete the bachelor degree.
