Xi’an Bodi School’s indoor table tennis hall was built by Shaanxi Zhishan Dongliang Table Tennis Club in 2005. It cost 4 million RMB and it covers an area of about 3,000 square meters, which provides enough space for 80 tables. It is the largest table tennis training center and the only stadium in Northwestern China that can hold National First Division table tennis matches. Various large-scale competitions are held in the stadium, and table tennis lessons or other PE lessons of our school are also given there. The everyday training in the stadium is undertaken by coaches of the Shaanxi Province Sports Team. In 2006, Bodi School was elected “National Key Table Tennis Center” by the Table Tennis & Badminton Administrative Center of the National P. E. Administration.

In the past few years, our table tennis players reached the finals many times in the National Juvenile Competitions and reached the first three singles or team rounds in the National Key Primary School Table Tennis Competition, “Xiang Yang Cup” Table Tennis Competition, “729 Northwestern China League Cup” Table Tennis Competition, etc.
In 2007, our stadium was the training place of the National Junior Team. The same year, our school’s players won the men’s singles competition and finished in third place in the men’s team competition in the National Key Primary School Table Tennis Tournament. They also won the men’s team competition in the “Stiga Cup” Open Tournament Xi’an Station.
In 2008, our school’s players won the singles competition and all team competitions in the League Match of Northwestern Five Provinces of China and two of our players were chosen by the Youth Team of China, which is a great honor for Shaanxi Province.
From 2006-2008, our school was responsible for providing training space for disabled players who were going to attend the Paralympic Games in Beijing. Those players got5 gold medals ,4 silver medals and one bronze medal in the 2008 Paralympic Games, which indicated that our school’s table tennis training had reached international first-class level.
