On the afternoon of Dec.18, former world table tennis champion-Jin Zezhu from South Korea led his country’s table tennis club members to Shaanxi Cheers-share Table Tennis Club training gym for one week visit. It has been the first time for Jin to visit Xi’an, he told us the major goal of their visit was to learn from experience from Shaanxi players.
Jin is well-known in China for his title of “ First Pen-holding Style Player”. He began to play table tennis at 7 years old, later was famous for his high fighting spirit ,forehand loop drive and chop in the world. He has been in charge of South Korea Table Tennis Club since his retirement from the national team. He was in sportswear and looked a little plump. He said to us: “ During my sports career, Chinese players were always the toughest for me to deal with; and I have learned a lot from Chinese players.”
PE Channel of CCTV, Sohu Web, Huashang Web, Shaanxi TV Station and many other media covered the visit of Jin Zezhu to our school’s table tennis club.
