Through strict selection, two of Bodi¡¯s teachers were chosen to be sent abroad to teach Chinese in Kenya and South Korea respectively.
Both Yu and Yang are Bodi¡¯s English teachers; they have been teaching seriously in our school for many years and are popular with their students. Yu was chosen by Hanban from thousands of applicants throughout China and will be sent to Kenya to teach Chinese by our state. Yang was recommended by our school and was strictly verified by Shaanxi Education Department; she was qualified to teach Chinese in South Korea.
Those two teachers will not only be Chinese language teachers, but also will act as cultural envoys to introduce Chinese civilization to other countries. Simultaneously, they will be examples of highly-qualified Bodi teachers; they will explore the theories on teaching Chinese as a foreign language and learn teaching ideas and experience from foreign teachers; they will also contribute to Bodi¡¯s future development. |
